The Closest Thing To Crazy
Picnics in the sky, a chart topping singer and a superbike double World Champion. That was our excitement recently.

Katie Melua, the best selling musician and supporter of the military, and her double World Champion biker turned rock star husband James Toseland joined Jump4Heroes to go skydiving. But, it was skydiving with a twist. The plan was to promote Poppy Picnics, a summer initiative to raise awareness for The Royal British Legion.
So, Katie, publicised as an adrenaline junkie, and her fearless husband James were strapped to me to do a tandem skydive (one at a time) while the other Jump4Heroes team members dived out afterwards with our picnic. And, in freefall, we posed for photos with our picnic before breaking off, opening our parachutes and gliding down for a soft landing before the real champagne flowed.

We achieved our aim and got the message out with a circulation, Nationally and Internationally or around 20 million. This included in the Times, Telegraph, Daily Mail, Evening Standard, Metro, MSN, Daily Star and OK Magazine, to name but a few.

A wonderful day for all and it was great to meet Katie and James – two down-to-earth and fantastic people supporting an extremely worthwhile charity. Thanks to everyone for all the behind the scenes work that made this happen.
